On New Year’s Eve, 1980 Pat Redmond, his wife Marilyn and his mother Helen Phelps were preparing for a party with a few close friends when killers arrived at the home. 3 men knocked on the garage door, displayed a police badge and asked for information.  Suddenly they drew gung, and entered the house. They hustled the 3 occupants into a bedroom and shot each in the back of the head. It was as gruesome as Truman Capotes’s 30 year old tale In Cold Blood.
