This week, I’ll be sitting down with Troy Knight ( IG @troy_knight06) .He was a  Combat Controller, deploying in the Australian Special Forces.Before joining the military, he did a butchers apprenticeship, however he had a drive and desire for adventure and in particular, combat operations. He ended up having a twenty one year military career both full-time and in the reserves. In that time he also was a bodyguard in the Middle East as well as twelve years of my military time were spent in the special operations around the world. Now, he is currently writing a book with my co–author Brooke Strahan about life in service, the effects it has on relationships and the mental toll.Tune in as we discuss emotional intelligence in relationships, war and innocence, middle aged men and emotional awareness and correcting this with future generations.
