Ep 6: Eating Out And Weight Loss.

from Love How You Eat · host Sally Webster

This week on the podcast, I'm talking about eating out.I used to delay starting any weight loss attempts until the "perfect time" -- no weddings, parties, birthdays, or dinners out. A corresponding spreadsheet and diet plan to match. And really, what I was doing was trying to manipulate the reality of my life so that I could lose weight in a vacuum. When we do that, we tend to rely on willpower to lose weight and then we put it back on the second our lives return back to normal.Sound familiar?!We haven't changed the habits, we've just temporarily changed the environment. In this episode, I talk about how *now* is the perfect time to start any weight loss or alcohol reframing work. The more events you have, the merrier! It's all an opportunity.I explain how it's not the circumstances that are the problem, but how you think about them that will ultimately create your results. If you can change how you think about things -- like eating out -- you can change your experience to be something that uniquely serves you and gets you the results you want. And if that's to lose weight without becoming a hermit, let's go!
