EP 60: Royal Canada Milker

This week we catch a glimpse of globalization right in our backyard through a thoroughly upsetting study of Canada Royal Milk. These guys have every flavour of Dickensian nightmare you can imagine: prison labour, cramped workhouses, physical assault by managers, and migrant workers deported over spilled milk. We’re left to consider how easily ignored the cartoonish evil of this company was and how many more stories like this are bubbling beneath public consciousness. Finally we consider how expanded CRTC regulations will allow Trudeau to crush any conservative voices online, which we learned through reading a National Post op-ed online.
