佐賀は南国で豊かな土地であり、佐賀の人々は非常に徹底した性質を持っています。商売では利を取り切り、交渉では甘さがなく、行動力に優れながらも倹約や合理性を徹底しているのが佐賀人の特徴です。しぶとい性質を持ちながらも、つらい顔を見せず、ニコニコ笑顔で対応するあっさりした気質が魅力です。伊万里は、東松浦半島と北松浦半島の付け根に位置する地政学的に興味深い場所で、両半島から流れてきた文化を吸収する地点です。古くからフルーツ王国として知られ、伊万里梨は手のひらサイズの小さな梨で、水分豊富で原種の特性を残しています。薄皮のキンカンは種がなく、そのまま食べられる珍しい品種です。また、芯まで真っ赤な「イチゴさん」というブランドが大人気で、フルーツ狩りができるスポットも多数あります。
