The performance begins with 'Azab', a profound exploration of the initial levels of Sufism—sharia and tariqa. It portrays the trials one faces before reaching a deeper truth, visualized through the symbolic act of sitting cross-legged, which denotes readiness for the transformative wisdom to come. ✨ 🪕 The second part, 'Dervish in Progress', presents a solo performance that encapsulates the final stage of Sufism—ingenuity. This piece reflects Ziya’s deep comprehension of life’s ultimate stage, a theme prevalent in Sufism.
