EP. 638『＠笠間、其ノ一 - 胡桃稲荷、縄文弥生』

笠間市は東京から車で2時間半ほど。今の季節は栗の花の香りや若葉が美しく、のんびり散策するのにぴったりです。笠間稲荷神社の参道には、お狐様やお社を売るお店が並び、赤い鳥居が新緑に映えていました。境内には樹齢400年ともいわれる「オニグルミ」の御神木があり、縄文時代から続く自然の歴史を感じさせてくれます。一方、お稲荷様は稲作と結びついた弥生時代の信仰。笠間には縄文と弥生、二つの時代の物語が重なっているんですね。参道で見つけた小さな稲荷寿司には、そのオニグルミが入っていて、お米との相性も抜群。甘くて香ばしい味わいに思わず笑顔になりました。お狐様がくわえる鍵は、人の幸せを開く鍵ともいわれます。笠間は、そんな小さな幸せに出会える町でした。
