Two Palestinian gunmen opened fire at a bus stop on the outskirts of Jerusalem on Monday, killing six people in what police described as “a terrorist attack,” one of the deadliest in the city in the past few years. Footage from a dashboard camera at the scene showed people fleeing from the vicinity of a bus stopped by the side of a road as shots rang out. Another video showed a bus’s windscreen and windows pierced with bullet holes.“Suddenly I hear the shots starting … I felt like I was running for an eternity,” Ester Lugasi, who was injured in the attack, told Israeli TV from the hospital. “I thought I was going to die.”The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam on the Blue Nile River promises to transform Ethiopia’s economy. But in Egypt and Sudan, the dam is seen as a threat, as they depend on the river for the majority of their freshwater.WSJ explores what the actual impact of Africa’s biggest-ever dam will be and why reaching an agreement is proving difficult over definitions of drought and impacts downstream. At least 19 people have been killed in Nepal's capital during anticorruption protests, as well as a ban on major social platforms. The demonstrators say it’s a crackdown on free speech, disguised as safety legislation.
