In this weeks episode, I share my thoughts on the simpler days of childhood - full of warmth & innocence, when the world was our giant playground. And how as we grew up, we began to create an identity of ourselves that separated us from the world around us by creating layers of thoughts and emotions to keep us feeling safe and protected from the same world that used to be our playground. The once innocent & happy child becomes so buried underneath these layers that we lose sight of who we truly are... until we realize that we can choose to remove these layers at any time. When we decide to heal and peel back these layers, one by one, we can learn to take our power back and understand that life doesn’t get easier - it’s about digging deeper and understanding why it’s been so hard.
