Ep 78: Labyrinth (Mental Health Month)

For all of May, in apprecitiation of mental health awareness month, we are discussing MOVIES THAT WE LOVE! Our first pick comes from Whitney. Directed by Jim Henson and starring Ziggy Stardust himself, David Bowie, alongside Jennifer Connelly and a host of amazing puppets. Sarah (Connelly) is a whiny shitbird teen that makes a wish for the goblins to take her crying baby brother away from her then immediately has wisher’s remorse when the Goblin King whisks him away to a magical realm of monsters, talking worms, trolls, goblins and fart swamps. Sarah only had 13 hours to solve the labyrinth and get through mazes, puzzles and a ton of fantasy double talk. This is a childhood classic of most 80s babies and we dive into it with full vigor!
