Over the last couple of weeks, we have read reports that incidents of domestic violence have surged as a result of COIVD-19. With stay at home orders in place throughout most of the country, the up tick in cases do not come as a surprise. Alethea Best, LMSW, Social Worker who is passionate about ending Intimate Partner Violence. Alethea provides: trauma-informed counseling, educational workshops for students, parents and staff, and the development of a peer leadership program to promote healthy relationships in her current role as a Relationship Abuse Prevention Program Coordinator to her school community.
