Ep 79 // Habits Learned In Childhood Directly Shape Our Daily Routines

from Habit Stacking Mom | Routines, Schedule, Overwhelm, Home Organization, Organized, Declutter, Balance, Goals, SAHM · host Jess Przulj - Task Management Coach, Routine Organizer

Hey Momma! Have you ever wondered why you repeat certain behaviors without even thinking about it? How much of what you do today is influenced by the habits you learned as a child? In this episode, we dive into how the habits we learned in childhood directly shape our daily routines as adults. From the behaviors modeled by our parents and caregivers to how we were taught to deal with stress, those early lessons leave a lasting impact. Whether we realize it or not, much of what we do today—good or bad—is tied to those formative years. I share a personal story about how my upbringing shaped my own habits and how I’ve come to recognize and shift some of them as a mother. Understanding how our habits were formed is key to changing the ones that don’t serve us and building new habits that align with our current goals. Ultimately, this episode encourages you to reflect on your habit legacy—the patterns and behaviors passed down to you—and take control of what you want to carry forward and what you want to change. By understanding how these habits were formed, we can intentionally create new habits that serve us better and align with the life we want to lead, both as individuals and as parents.
