EP 8 - THE MATRIX RELOADED (2003)

ERGO, VIS-À-VIS, CONCORDANTLY, ETC.After the surprising smash hit of the first Matrix in 1999, Warner Bros. decided to go balls-to-the-wall with their faith in this franchise, greenlighting a two-parter and essentially giving the Wachowskis carte blanche to do whatever they wanted. The first part of their efforts was The Matrix Reloaded, releasing in May of 2003, and despite all the hype going in, audiences and critics left with very mixed feelings, citing problems with the story, pacing, characters, etc. So, has it aged better with time?
