Ep 81. Psalms 16-20: Fullness of Joy and the Beauty of the Law (Women's Bible Study)

Oh as much as I'm loving this study, this may be my favorite week of the whole series, but maybe I shouldn't type too soon, we've still got half of the study to go. Maybe I should wait to see what all is revealed. This week in our Women's Bible Study we find ourselves on the Path of Life, and it is revealed to us how to have fullness of joy in one of my favorite Psalms.  We get to look into one of the most beautiful prayers of David, one that is easily adaptable for us to pray regularly. We tackle the longest Psalm we've read so far, but find it wasn't that difficult to follow and understand. One of my other favorite Psalms is a celebration of the Law. Have you ever realized just how beautiful the Law of the Lord actually is? And our final Psalm for the week had a little different flavor.  It wasn't David singing the words, it was the congregation singing to the Lord on David's behalf, on behalf of their king. They weren't exactly singing the British National Anthem, but if you are familiar with the words to "God Save the King" you will see some strikingly familiar themes.
