[EP.84] 🇬🇧 Bringing consent into your sexuality and your life, with Justin Hancock, author of “Can we talk about consent ?" (english version)

from Vulvées - Tantra, sexualité positive, intimité, désir et plaisir

If I had to choose one interview to listen to since the creation of the podcast, it would be this interview with Justin Hancock.  Justin Hancock is a sex and relationships educator, trainer, writer.. And although he doesn't proclaim himself as such, I'd say he's a philosopher.  He is the author of “Can we talk about consent ?". Initially written for teenagers, it's an extraordinary book for adults too, as it's so easy to access and eloquent. In fact, it's a practical guide to understanding consent and applying it to one's daily and sexual life. And everyone should have it in their home. This interview with Justin was one of the most beautiful and moving for me. In fact, I ended the interview in tears, so touched was I by his vision of the world and relationships, and his powerful, crystal-clear words. Justin has a dynamic, collaborative vision of consent that involves seeking the best for both parties, and moving forward together to take care of each other. In fact, his vision is profoundly philosophical and ethical, and carries within it the seeds of revolution. In this interview, so many important things are said: getting out of sexual scripts, giving ourselves the power to choose what's good for us, looking for relationships that make room for everyone's needs, conceiving intimacy as a place of co-construction, seeing life as abundance...These words seem to me more essential than ever. Listen to them, share them, and perhaps cry tears of beauty with me. His book : "Can we talk about consent ?" His website : Bish, A guide to sex, love and you For everyone over 14.His personnal web site : https://justinhancock.co.uk/🐚 VULVÉES IS A PODCAST CREATED BY ALEXANDRA DE LASSUS SAINT GENIÈS 🐚My name is Alexandra de Lassus Saint Genies.
