EP 9 | Aaron Keith

Aaron Keith is a Singer-Songwriter/Pop Artist from Queens, New York. Gearing up to release his debut single "Should We Link Up" Aaron talked about writing his debut single and his planned debut studio album set to be released within the next year. Aaron connected with Hunter and Dave From No Fltr Tunes in New Jersey help him produce the track. We later talked about his biggest musical influences and how growing up he originally wanted to pursue making indie/alternative music before transitioning to pop. Aaron's biggest influences as a songwriter are Drake, Catfish and The Bottlemen, Justin Bieber, Tate McRae and Clairo. We talked about his first time performing live and the excitement that came along with that. Later on in the episode, we talked about creating a budget as an independent artist in order to market your music and the different trajectories artists take when starting their musical career, including pursuing a record label deal and staying independent in order to gain leverage. Aaron and I talked about the importance of content creation and quality music in order to cut through the clutter on social media and gain serious attention.
