Ep 9: Cycle Syncing: My Fave Breakthrough for More EASE

from Soften Up with Krystal Alexandria · host Soften Up with Krystal Alexandria

Syncing your life to your cycle is such a liberating and beautiful way to work WITH your body's natural rhythms instead of against it. It's honestly been one of the biggest breakthroughs I've had over the last five years! I feel more in tune, more effective with my time, and more allowing of where my body is in trusting her to know best with what she needs. Making space to listen to our bodies is a an act of rebellion against systems that keep us overriding what our body's need in order to keep up. It can be so exhausting to keep up with capitalistic priorities so taking a softened approach to working with our bodies is as revolutionary as it is ancient.Cycle syncing can be applied to everyday things like:- Tracking your cycle- Designing your weekly calendar- Selecting workouts - Shifting food choices - Creative projects- & so much more! (It's up to you!)I share super practical strategies for how to work WITH your cycle. Give these a try and let me know how you feel!Designing your everyday life in alignment with where you are in your cycle can soften how you relate to the needs of your body. Rather than it be a downer (although sometimes it's gonna be), working with your cycle can help you to feel more YOU throughout the month, even when hormones are doing their thing (hello, perimenopause!).
