from Life Fulfilled Podcast — Where leadership, self awareness and workplace performance actually connect. · host Bernie Borges
On episode 94 you'll meet my lifelong friend Ray Rodriguez. In the introduction, I share the backstory of my relationship with Ray. I'm 11 hours older than Ray and he and I consider each other brothers from another mother. Ray shares his BF (before fulfillment) to AF (after fulfillment) story of finding fulfillment as an architect of a different type. After he gave up his childhood dream of becoming an architect, he found a successful career in sales in the promotional products industry. After more than 40 years in the industry including several successful corporate positions growing sales and running his own business, he discovered that he is an architect of a different type. With the long list of people whose careers were greatly impacted by his leadership and mentorship, he realized great fulfillment in architecting businesses' growth strategies and mentoring people's careers. His work with Big Brother's Big Sisters has led him to a new chapter where he has architected an entrepreneurship course for underprivileged children. His goal is to positively impact as many kids as possible, through mentorship.
