from Sobertown Podcast · host Drifter
Harvey from the UK joins Imust to discuss his battles with a heavy career, coupled with heavy drinking and coming to the realisation that stopping drinking has to be done for ourselves and nobody else. I just have to Add that I absolutely love Harvey902's passion for sobriety!! Harvey902! Thank You!!!!!!! Also I'm adding his post from the "i am sober" app dated Aug 10, 2021. It's Absolutely Fantastic!! "I passed a year a week ago and have been thinking about what this means to me. These are pretty much in order." "*Saved my relationship,*Started a successful business *Cleared most of my debt - the rest is structured and manageable, *Ripped up the patio decking myself and laid a patio, *Built a brick BBQ (I have never picked up a brick in my life), *Turned a spare room into a functional office space that now finances the house, *Converting the outhouse into a professional office, *Regained the trust of my extended family, *Vastly improved relationship with my own family, *Started Judo, having never practiced a martial art in my life. My goal is black belt in 4 years, *Lost 9 pounds of belly fat, *Helped at least one very good friend quit alcohol, For good. I will support them in perpetuity, *Celebrated a birthday, Christmas, New Year and this weekend a stag do without the slightest fear or paranoia the following day." "To be fair to alcohol, below is a list of things I have missed about drink and the benefits it brought me over the years: * , * , * , * , * , * , * , * , * . Peace and respect to you all" No Sippy No Slippy. Not Another Drop No matter What. Remember to Pour The Poison Down The Sink!! Sobertownpodcast.com
