We get into how acting became less “mystical” and more playful, how exercises like switching emotional choices cracked things open, and how those tools feed back into stand-up. From there we zoom out into the philosophy of comedy: process over product, finding joy in the “now show” (not just the 20 minutes on stage), treating life and art as verbs instead of fixed nouns, and choosing curiosity and kindness over cheap aggression - onstage and off.
