EP012_EN_Mars-Ares - how to discipline yourself to thrive

from OLYMPUS - cosmos, miths and self-awareness · host A. Carminati

Mars is the fourth planet of the Solar System. In Greek mythology, he is Ares, the god of righteous war (aimed at maintaining order) and the defender of the homeland. In Roman tradition, he was the father of Romulus and Remus (the founders of Rome) and therefore considered a symbolic progenitor. He was also seen as the generative force of nature; in fact, his month, “March,” marks the beginning of agricultural work.Ares, as the god of war, embodies the courage, strength, and especially the discipline needed to carry battles forward. And as a generative force, he represents the vitality, power, and energy necessary for nature to flourish. He is an example of how strength (properly measured) and discipline (constantly trained) can maintain the mental order required to foster prosperity in everything we do.
