It is a protest against the current flawed contract system that has caused tremendous dissatisfaction amongst the contract medical staff, especially during this over-working pandemic time. The lack of job security, uncertainty in career advancement, unequal pay and benefits, and over-working over the years have caused this strike. 26 July 2021, the doctors went on strike in the morning as their demands were not taken seriously. What’s next?
