Part1. (Abandonment) In the next few episodes we will be discussing the subject of abandonment which seems to be an increasing problem in our world. Vows that are broken, spouses and children that are hurt, it’s a difficult thing to escape the feelings of loss. Throughout the Bible, even from the earliest chapters there are many examples of abandonment; Hagar, Ishmael and so many more. In the book of 2 Samuel chapters 11-12 we will look at a string of events in David’s life which lead him to abandon so much that was good in his life and despite all the tragedies God was able redeem situation.
