書院是源自唐代的傳統文教機構，招收學生、作育英才並宣揚文教。具有150年歷史的縣定古蹟「藍田書院」，是南投地區的第一所書院，從西元1831年建成的時候開始就背負著促進在地文教發展的重要使命。節目邀請到文史研究者陳仕賢老師來告訴大家，究竟「書院」為什麼與地方的文教事業有什麼關係呢？「樹人如同種玉、青出於藍更勝於藍」，乘載著這樣的名字，秉持著這樣的理念，藍田書院不只是南投最古老的書院、重要的歷史古蹟建物，也是古文物的保存者、傳統文教的象徵，至今應考的學子們也還是會來到此處靜思讀書、祈求考運，書院也會繼續承擔宣揚教化的重責大任。 -- Hosting provided by SoundOn
