EP18.5: BONUS: Spotlight on Dr. Pembe Oltulu

We don't always get to hear the stories of the people that are around us, either in person or in social media. Dr. Pembe Oltulu has overcome many hardships, highlighting the barriers that may be in place for different individuals around the world. There is an instapath bio on Dr. Oltulu; link here. Dr. Pembe Oltulu, MD grew up in rural Turkey and is very active on social media. She lives in Konya City in Turkey. She overcame economic difficulties and attended Selcuk University Medical Faculty. She did residency at the same university. She is currently an Associate Professor of Pathology at Necmettin Erbakan University, Meram Faculty of Medicine in Konya, Turkey; Twitter account @NEUniversitesi. She has four children – her eldest son is 19 years old, her eldest daughter is 17, her youngest son is 12, and her youngest daughter is 9.
