Ep180 From Lost Time to a Reclaimed Life: Jackie Schmidt's Recovery Story

from Faith In Your Recovery Podcast

From Lost Time to a Life Reclaimed: My Sobriety Story I started drinking in the early '90s, thinking it would help me feel more confident. But over time, alcohol took much more than it gave. I lost close friends, strained family relationships, and struggled to hold a full-time job. Mornings were filled with regret, exhaustion, and missed opportunities. But that’s not where my story ends. Through hard work, reflection, and healing, I’ve made amends with my family and friends. I’ve rebuilt those broken bridges. Today, I’m proud to say I am dependable, trustworthy, and living a life rooted in clarity and connection. 🌅 If you’re struggling, know that change is possible. ❤️ Recovery gave me more than sobriety—it gave me myself back. 💬 If you're on your own recovery journey—or thinking about starting one—drop a comment. You're not alone. Let's lift each other up. #SoberLife #AlcoholRecovery #TrustRebuilt #HealingJourney #RecoveryIsPossible #LifeAfterAddiction #SoberSupport #PersonalGrowth #YouAreNotAlone
