Happy Persian New Year! We celebrate the U.S. New Year on 12/31 and 1/1 like everyone else. But something unique about my family is that we also celebrate the first day of spring or Norwuz. To us, it marks a new beginning, and it’s a great way to welcome spring. During Norwuz, I also dedicate time to spring cleaning. I know a lot of people participate in spring cleaning. It’s a great time to get things in order before we all get crazy busy during summer! I like to think of it as coming out of hibernation!
