This episode is all about the Performers Edge and I am so happy that Cailin Howarth could join me on this episode to share her expertise as a Performance Coach. Cailin Howarth is a professional classical singer and performance psychology coach, based in Melbourne. She completed a Bachelor of Music at The Conservatorium of Music at The University of Melbourne in 2011 and has subsequently performed professionally across Australia and Europe with groups including The London Philharmonic Orchestra Chorus and Victorian Opera and The Australian Chamber Choir. Early on in her career, Cailin recognised that performers and musicians experienced acute and specific psychological pressures that don't exist in other industries. Cailin saw the need for practitioners who understood those pressures, so she returned to study postgraduate psychology in order to support performing artists through the provision of performance psychology services. Cailin now shares her time between performing professionally and providing peak performance and mental skills training to creative and performers.
