Dr. Schukow played football for much of his life, and he experienced an identity change once he was no longer actively playing the sport. The growth mindset and vulnerability have been key to his transition from football to medicine. Dr. Casey P. Schukow, DO is currently in his first post-graduate year as a transitional year resident at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital in Monroe, MI. He attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to that, he attended Hillsdale College and played football (defensive line unit), graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
