EP33: Tracy Townsend - Psilocybin Mushroom Therapy in Oregon

Dr. Townsend is a licensed medical doctor, psilocybin facilitator, and ceremonialist based in Portland, Oregon. She practices integrative medicine through a holistic approach. She completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Boston Children's Hospital of Harvard University. Before that, she trained in a five year residency program in general orthopaedic surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. She received her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Prior to this, she spent a gap year volunteering for a grassroots education non-profit in La Vallée de Jacmel, Haiti. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, also from the University of Virginia. Dr. Townsend is part of the first graduating class of government licensed psilocybin facilitators through the Innertrek program. Dr. Townsend spent her early childhood in Okinawa, Japan and Seoul, South Korea. Her high school years were spent in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Dr. Townsend has a profound connection to Mother Earth and all her inhabitants - flora and fauna alike.
