Ep38 Musings w/Mookie

Have you ever been in a position of assumption? I feel like that should be a separate title that comes with pay or at least some type of compensation. A little something for my trouble. In one job they call it an ‘Special Experience Identifier’ or SEI for short but you weren’t always paid.An SEI is just a special set of skills or skill that isn't used everyday but once you got it, it is invaluable. Okay moving on.I have been endowed or trained with many special experience identifiers but none has been greater than the one of assumption. I’m the oldest of the kids, so it is assumed I know better - but it’also my first time on earth. I am seen in my military garb and it is assumed that I am in the army or if I say the branch then I fly planes and asked when can I fly them some place - please save me. Picture me breaking me breaking the fourth wall during these instances.My favorite assumption is the one of ‘you’ve done it before’ and I am filled with a list of items to complete by someone who is just clocking my untapped talents in real time. Something I am oblivious too as I yap. I have not mastered the art of feign ignorance, so now I have learned to not say anything. Not give all my talents away. In turn, I am assumed not to be very useful and their is that fourth wall again.- Mookie💜 This is a public episode.
