Ep39: EFL Championship Play Off Semi Final Leg 2 Preview: Who Will Hold Their Nerve?

from A.I. In Football

Images For This EpisodeIn this episode we look back at the intriguing 1st legs of the EFL Championship Play Off Semi Finals. There might not have been a raft of goals...... or any goals at all!! But that doesn't take away from the tension that all four sets of fans felt on the day, and that will only be ramped up further as we move towards the 2nd leg...... where the two finalists will be decided. David has looked at the way that all four teams progressed the ball up the pitch over the weekend, and it certainly seemed like the away teams were not their usual free flowing selves.... perhaps keen to limit any damage away from home in order to maximise their home advantage in the return game.We try and get some insight from the corresponding fixtures earlier in the season to see how the teams matched up, and whether this might give some clues as to how each team will combat each other. But will this 'advantage' of being in front of their home fans boost their performance to the next level? Or will it add the unwanted pressure of increased expectation to the clear favourites? Only time will tell.... but we can't wait to see how it plays out. No doubt, being the EFL Championship it won't go completely to the expected script. Let's take a seat and see how these four teams attack the championship!Useful LinksX (Twitter) - @champattackYoutube Channel
