本集介紹「大陸麵」的客語，節目中說明客家人現代的麵食中，各種料理的說法，例如「面帕粄」、「米篩目」、「米粉」，如果只是跟老闆說要吃「麵」，那麼老闆儲煮「黃麵」給客人，如果是要吃像陽春麵那種或是麻醬乾麵那種呢？那就要跟老闆說要吃「大陸麵」，因為那種麵條是由「大陸人」帶進來的，所以我們就稱做「大陸麵」，小時候只有湯麵和乾麵，不會有牛肉麵，長大後才知道，原來「大陸麵」還可以煮成「牛肉麵」。
