EP42: The Human Butterfly

Wanted to focus this episode on an idea that has resonated with me for a few years. This is the idea that we are like a caterpillar making the transition to butterfly, in a chrysalis phase. I didn't come up with the concept, obviously, or maybe I did? Maybe you and I did?! Besides the point.... Everything that was once structure, and known, is now goo, and dissolving under it's own weight, seemingly lost to entropy and oblivion. The beautiful secret is that the melting down process is the most important, and is the only way to get to the next phase. Enter the butterfly- a beautiful, expansive, new creature. The goo phase doesn't have clarity, clear purpose, and doesn't allow for the old ways to be repeated or copied. There is no time or space for staying in the past. We are here to either embrace the transition and eventual transformation, or we are here to fight against it tooth and nail, and learn the hard lesson of fighting the only constant: change.
