In this effort to combat the pain and the drain that go with addiction/SUD, Lorra and her team have helped create a community wide effort involving law enforcement, the judicial system, health care, peer recovery coaches and more. As a peer recovery coach, Chris is a front-line combatant against the bias and stigma that accompanies addiction. What had been a squeaky-clean child became a battle against addiction as a result of 13 months of pain relievers for an IED accident while serving our country in Iraq.
