節目邀請到美濃竹頭背客家八音團團長鍾兆生，他在攻讀博士班時，認識八音大師鍾雲輝及鍾彩祥，便一頭栽進客家八音的世界，從研究者身分轉變為八音演奏者。2012年鍾兆生為保存美濃傳統客家八音的完整性，提出客家八音傳統藝術保存計畫，成立美濃竹頭背八音團，起初聘請鍾彩祥教授傳統客家八音，包含二弦、胡弦及鑼鼓技藝，2016年更邀請鍾雲輝指導嗩吶演奏技藝及曲目合奏的演譯方式。鍾兆生目前依循民族音樂學者吳榮順提出的「回歸傳統生態的保存傳習理念」，來推廣及保存客家傳統音樂，進行客家傳統音樂的調查、研究、保存及傳承工作。 -- Hosting provided by SoundOn
