EP669: Paying for EV charging – an open payments use case

Arman Aygen, Director of Technology, EMVcoEMVCo facilitates testing and evaluation for compliance with EMV specifications – the technical requirements that are used to develop payment card products. In 2023 the company launched an EV Open Payments Task Force, aiming to work with industry stakeholders to explore how EMV payment technology could help support a secure and seamless EV charging payment experience around the world.
