Kimi desu 😊Today’s episode is the continuation of EP75:there is / there are in Japanese.In this episode, we will learn the past forms:imashita = there was / there were (for people and animals)arimashita = there was / there were (for things)For example:「kouen ni takusan hito ga imashita.」There were many people in the park.「kouen no tonari ni ookii chuushajou ga arimashita.」There was a big parking lot next to the park.We will practice how to describe places and situations in the past.Remember:Japanese does not change the verb depending on singular or plural.The same idea as います / あります also applies to いました / ありました.Listen to this episode, and then go back to the Japanese Only Challenge episode.
