EPHESIANS 1:1-6 Predestination

Dr. Sean Cole teaches expositionally through the book of Ephesians. In 1:1-6, Paul introduces us to the Trinitarian structure of Father, Son, and Spirit. First, the Father blesses us with sovereign election, predestination, and adoption. This choosing took place before the foundation of the world, and there were no conditions sinners had to meet for God to elect them--namely, faith. God chose us based upon the good pleasure of His will, not on foreseen faith. Sean interacts with the Arminian and Corporate views of election as he affirms that this passage teaches the unconditional election view.
