For episode 21 we took the show on the road. We recorded live from Miami at the National Association of Black Journalists National Convention. It is the Superbowl weekend of Black media, journalists, and faces behind and in front of the camera. We took the opportunity to talk to one of the most tapped in brothers in the national political scene right now. We sat down and dived into the career of Brandon Gassaway, the current National Press Secretary for the Democratic National Committee. He leads on press and media relations for the national Democratic Party. Brandon and co-host Cameron trimble explore his journey, his displacement from his native New Orleans post Katrina, to his tips for navigating the halls of power in the nation’s capital.
