Episode 038 | Pen to Paper

from The 30 Percent Podcast · host The 30 Percent Podcast

In todays episode, Sam and Afam get into their previous week. The Poseidon Pod Boyz stepped out this week for a listening party. Kenyan artist Kinoti released a project titled Little Messages who's listening party the boys attended. They do a detailed breakdown of the show, and give insight into their perspectives from their experiences on the night. Khaligraph Jones set fire to the Kenyan hip hop scene this week taking aim at the whole of Tanzania's hip hop roster claiming to be better than all of them and inviting them to prove him wrong. The boys discuss the beef. There has already been responses by some TZ rappers such as Rosa Ree and Fido Vato who had a message for Khaligraph. The boys further talk about the good and bad of Rap beef, stating where they think the line is and what rappers going at each other could possibly do for the genre and industry as a whole. The boys also review new music that dropped last week! To bring more awareness to the different genres of music within the industry we hope to see the artists & songs discussed in the podcast receive the recognition they deserve.
