Episode 042: How to Empathize with Your Client's Objections

from The Morning Coffee Marketer

In this episode, Kim Walsh Phillips discusses an exercise you can use to help you empathize with your client's objections and respond to them in a way that helps build trust and rapport in your relationship with them. Key Takeaways! They had their inaugural Game Changer Marketing Summit this past weekend and it was a major success!  (0:55)   One of the exercises they worked through at the Summit was to try to relate very closely to their prospects' objections. Here's what you do: (1:29) Make a list of the objections your prospect might have. Some could be lack of time or money, or the need to talk over decisions with a spouse, business partner, etc. Write down a time when you were in a similar situation and you conquered that objection. This helps you to put yourself in your client's shoes when trying to reply to their objections. Don't write down your answers to these objections in marketing speech! You want to be able to emphatically relate to your clients, so speak to them in a way they will understand. This will help you build trust and rapport with your clients in the long run.   Resources Mentioned in this Episode Website: Morningcoffeemarketer.com   How to get 10,000 Facebook fans in 3 days or less 3daysto10k.com
