Episode 05: The Murder of Rochester Mob Boss

The 1970's were a very rough time for the citizens of Rochester, New York. The mob wars were frequent, brutal and fearsome. Salvatore Gingello, mainly known as "Sammy G" was one of the main Rochester mob bosses beginning 1972 after overthrowing his prior mentor. After being released from prison, due to a police error, the alphabet mob wars ensued for power over Rochester. A few months after being released, Sammy was killed by a car bomb.
