Sam and Afam begin the episode by going through their Spotify Wrapped. They discuss the various accuracies and inaccuracies. Slightly controversially, Drake found his way into many Spotify listeners wrapped lists and the boys talk about why that could be and is he deserving of the spot? On the back of last weeks episode the boys have a discussion about aging in art. They contrast producers and artists within the aging process. What should artists do to maintain relevancy in a fast paced music scene? Sam and Afam propose what they feel would work and give examples of artists and producers like JCole, and Hit-Boy who have managed to maintain their place in the industry for an extended period of time. UnKut Africa is back with the fourth Edition of their award show, The UnKut hip Hop Awards. The boys break down some of the nominees, including Wakadinali, Buruklyn Boyz, Khaligraph Jones, Femi One and others and Afam boldly predicts the winners in each category.
