She mentioned advice she was given by KE Music icon Bien about signing to labels. That leads into a conversation about the benefits and drawbacks of signing to a music label versus remaining independent. They then talk about what they feel artists should focus on and what to do if they are to sign to a music label. Spotify named Fena Gitu as it's EQUAL Africa ambassador, the boys give her her flowers. Also, African music platform Mdundo recent put out news that they will be paying out $1.5 million to artists for royalties collected in 2023-24.
