Episode 09: The Murder of Nicole Vanderheyden

After recently giving birth to their son, Nicole Vanderheyden and Doug Detrie were looking forward to a night out in Green Bay, WI with friends. After heavy alcohol consumption, a fight occurred between the couple, leading Nicole, known to her friends as Nikki, to walk off from a bar on her own. No one would see Nikki alive again. After her body was discovered, all signs pointed to Doug having committed the murder. He continously denied having any involvement. Luckily, evidence analysis cleared Doug of these charges. Due to DNA, a new suspect was charged. But he claims someone else committed the murder....Doug.
