Welcome to Emergency Protocol! In this episode, mother and daughter Denise and Jackie Freed, share where they’re lives started, where they are now, and how they got here.  Ever since she was young, Denise struggled with fitting in, shame, and addiction which ultimately lead her to an unrecognizable version of herself. Now, with the help of the Twelve Step program and a lot of internal work along the way, she has gone from high school dropout to office manager of a Fortune 500 company. Similarly, Denise’s daughter Jackie also struggled with not fitting in and feelings of imposter syndrome growing up, which led to bouts of intense anxiety and depression.
