It may look perfect at times, but it can never truly be that way. There will always be ups and downs, challenges, and unexpected turns. For me, it was divorce. For you, it may be something else. When reality comes knocking at your door, it's important to find a safe place to be vulnerable. Often, we view vulnerability as a sign of weakness rather than strength, but when you truly see its importance, you realize that vulnerability can be your superpower.Embracing vulnerability means accepting that it’s okay not to have everything figured out and trusting that God can turn ashes into beauty. Even when we feel shame or guilt about our failures, it’s essential to find a safe space to express our feelings and share our hearts. Remember, every challenge we overcome is a testament to our resilience and God’s wonderful grace in our lives. Our testimony will soon be our legacy and a guide for others who are walking down the path we once traveled. In this first episode, I share about the power of testimony and how our stories can shape our nEXt chapters. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to explore your feelings and know that you are not alone. I’ll be sharing my own experiences and inviting guests who have also walked through tough times. We will work our way through the learnings and tools to set us up for a better future. Thank you for being here and taking this first step with me! I’m excited to see where this journey takes us, and I can’t wait to hear your stories, too. nExt chapter, here we come!Song of the week: “Testimony” by Anthony Brown & group therAPyTopics Covered:(00:00:00) Episode Snippet(00:00:15) Welcome to Your nEXt Chapter Podcast(00:01:50) Why did I start a podcast?(00:03:41) Meet Dr. Nicole (00:05:26) The power of sharing(00:07:19) Vulnerability is my superpower(00:10:39) Honoring my mother’s legacy(00:12:15) Healing through music(00:14:42) Power in my testimony(00:17:17) More than a podcast(00:19:30) Allow people to care for you(00:20:33) What to expect(00:21:51) What is a nEXt chapter?(00:23:24) Be our podcast guestJoin our Community Join our community to be the first to hear about exciting announcements and opportunities to connect.About Your HostDr. Nicole is a pediatrician, the owner of a successful healthcare consulting company, a riveting keynote and TEDx speaker, and the mom of two beautiful young adult daughters.
