Episode 10: Boundaries

from Sessions with Sara Cate & Ashley · host Sara Cate & Ashley

Woof. Boundaries. In a world where everyone’s an instant expert on boundaries, it can be SO hard to know what to do, when to set them, HOW to set them, and who we can set them with. The most important thing to remember is that the boundary is for you…not for the other person. Unfortunately we can get a lot of messages that give us the opposite impression- that you’re putting a boundary on someone else. A true boundary is something you have for yourself, to help you adjust your behavior, not someone else’s. We want you to know that no matter how messy this path is, the goal is always to stay true to yourself and to come back home when you get a little thrown off. Boundaries can help this tremendously, but it takes practice, and none of us are perfect. We hope you enjoy this session on boundaries with both professional input, and a lot of personal examples!
