Very different races - Long story short...aiming for a course PR first and foremost! - Is this swim challenging? I think so. But WHY? - Transitions are FAST at this race! - The bike has literally ZERO elevation (I don't care what Ironman's Athlete Guide tells you) - A flat bike course doesn't mean an easy bike course - Constant power output, lots of wind as well - NO shade on the run. Could get VERY hot! - Run is also quite flat, but very spectator friendly! - This is my A race.
